Meet Allison Bachmeier

I help humans  learn about their bodies and minds, looking at what seems to be a restriction, limitation or tension and curiously exploring the information it holds while holding space for embodied awarenesses and transformation.  A melding of psychology meets spirituality to offer spaciousness on how we can meet ourselves in new ways and connect to the aliveness of life’s moments organically, mindfully through loving presence.

Here’s my experience coming from a scientific medical background to becoming an Advanced Body
Talk Practitioner & Certified BodyTalk Instructor.

Extensive education in the body and the mind, includes: B.Sc in Anatomy, B.A. in Psychology and 2.5 years of medical school, followed by a personal health crisis involving cancer led to the discovery of consciousness based medicine, BodyTalk. All of which led to a  deepening into breathwork and somatics which draws upon information from Hakomi Body-Centered Psychotherapy, Bodynamics Somatic Developmental Psychology, Somatic Experiencing and Internal Family Systems along with Numa Somatics Breathwork and training in perinatal trauma and water breathwork.

Many struggle to attain some ‘better place’ of health, joy, peace, etc. This, as well as any, type of balance is an impossible illusion to attain – and thank goodness it is! If balance was present all the time without any ups and down the diagram of life would be a straight line __________. This is actually a diagram of death.  If medical personnel saw that in the ER they’d get pretty worried. What if the events in your life weren’t something to be combatted against or internalized as something as you did right/wrong?   With a shift in understanding, life’s ever changing rhythm and beauty may begin to be present in new ways and your way of relating to it all may also be fresh, inviting in new layers of aliveness into your being.

My active studies in a diverse myriad of interests continue to support the dynamic evolution of the work along with personal exploration which is nurtured steadily through dynamically applying the principles underlying this work in my daily life, personally and professionally.

I am currently instructing internationally and operating a full time clinic. I am available for private and group sessions, lectures, seminars and to facilitate and support a wide variety of personal development offerings.  . To make an appointment for a session, a consultation or inquire about having a course or workshop near you, Allison can be reached via phone at (306) 280-8264 or email at [email protected]
