Ideal for all clients and students of BodyTalk & The Life SciencesBending over backwards, grow a backbone!, spineless like a jellyfish, stand tall, it sends shivers up my spine… all these expressions and more relate to the consciousness of your spine. Each of the discs between the vertebrae of your spine has consciousness’s or specific psychological meanings associated with problems around that disc. Join us to explore all the details! The spinal discs create a cushioning, giving rise to feeling like you have a soft place to land in life and that every part inside of you as well as how you relate to your world is that of a supportive connection. The spine is thought to be your antennae to the consciousness of who you are, tuning into all that you think and feel about yourself. Supported by the small intrinsic muscles that run between each vertebrae, it provides a wealth of information from physical movement to gaining awareness and insight about your very nature.

In general, spinal disc problems are thought to relate to not being able to handle something, a feeling of being over-run by the demands of life and a wanting to procrastinate, slide around or even ignore those things that are giving you the feeling that you don’t have what it takes to make it. The family dynamic that contributes to this is growing up in a household that either asked far too much or far too little.

The bladder meridian runs along either side of the spine, governing these intrinsic spinal muscles between each vertebrae that relate to both our character as well as our urges, our desires, our libido.

Come Let Your Spine Play!

“You’re only as young as your spine is flexible.” -Bob Harper

We’ll be exploring a number of principles including vulnerability, strength, power, humility, honesty, authenticity, compassion, relationships (with self and others), intimacy, and sensuality.

The nature of group work allows, from a quantum physics understanding of increasing observation, for exceptional effectiveness.

“Every session it feels like you’re treating just me, are you sure these sessions aren’t just for me?” is the most common feedback I received when working with group BodyTalk sessions, pre-recorded or live.
